FridayAI 6.1: Working Together

With version 6.1, we redesigned the application and took a major step toward a new kind of interaction between humans and AI.

This update brings a new interface, a new way for AI to be present on your screen, expanded Agent Mode and Vision Mode capabilities, a more detailed state system, a new permissions system, and a significantly expanded set of actions.

But the biggest change is the feeling of actually working alongside FridayAI.

We redesigned the application interface from the ground up. The changes go beyond the visual design and extend to the overall structure of the app.

Navigation is now clearer, while the main features are organized into dedicated sections.

One of the biggest visual changes is the new Orb — an interactive, glowing sphere that serves as the visual representation of her.

The Orb can live directly inside the application interface or remain available as an overlay even after the application window is closed.

You can resize and reposition the Orb, while its appearance and behavior change depending on her current state and actions.

AI no longer simply exists inside an application window — she can stay right there with you.

She has become significantly more independent. We've also added more flexible controls for deciding when she can take initiative.

She can now work more effectively with information displayed on your screen, while Vision Mode itself has gained additional customization options.

As AI becomes more capable, having control over those capabilities becomes increasingly important. That's why we completely redesigned the permissions system.

You can now decide exactly which computer capabilities are available to FridayAI. This gives you more precise control over how AI interacts with your system and lets you choose the level of autonomy that works best for you.

She now has a significantly broader range of actions at her disposal.

She can perform more operations on your computer, while those actions are now displayed in much greater detail within the interface.

This not only expands what AI can do, but also makes it easier to understand exactly what happened while she was working.

We also completely redesigned the state system.

She can now provide much more information about what she is doing, what she plans to do next, and what is happening during her operation.
