If you see one of the User-Agent strings below in your logs, this is not malicious traffic or a bulk scraper. It is one of our AI products, visiting a page on behalf of a specific user’s request.
FridayAI is a personal AI agent that can browse the web on its own when a task requires it: looking up information, verifying data, reading documentation, and similar actions.
Every visit is triggered by a real user’s action — the bot does not crawl in the background or collect data for later use.
FridayAlerts is a personal alerts system. Its bot visits pages to help give an individual user personalized safety recommendations, guidance on what to do next, and information about relevant risks.
It is also used for research and for checking the accuracy and up-to-dateness of information before it is passed on to the user.
We don’t currently offer an automated opt-out mechanism. If you’d like your domain excluded from future visits by our bots, email us at hestordev@gmail.com with the domain(s) you’d like excluded, and we will add them to our exclusion list manually.
